In partnership with St Edmundsbury Borough Council, Centros undertook the redevelopment of the 12-acre former cattle market site in Bury St Edmunds town centre to create ‘arc’ a mixed-use scheme aimed at expanding this market town’s retail offer. Providing a Debenhams department store, 35 shops, 62 residential units, a new multi-purpose public venue building and over 850 car parking spaces, the open pedestrian shopping streets have been designed as a natural and seamless extension of the town centre’s medieval street pattern. |
